Thank you for your help. I had some of the above but had an e-mail from someone telling me I had the wrong mother of John and she also had wrong dates so ended up totally confused as a lot of the names the same .
John Martin 1838 married Jane Spruce 1839-1907 in 1859 and Mark Martin and Jane Wellings were his parents.
My mother in law is the g/g grandaughter of John and Jane Spruce. and we knew nothing about this family.
I haven't done a lot on them so they will be my next project.

Wondering if anyone can help me with John Welings 1757-1833 Shropshire married Dolly Vaughn 1763-1827 Shropshire and had a son John Wellings 1782-1842 Staffordshire who married ?. They had a daughter Jane 1805-? who married Mark Martin 1802-1871 Staffordshire. I would love to know more about this family and wonder if anyone can help.
