I am looking to find more about Alfred Tallant born 1852/3 in Switzerland.
The first time I can see him is on the 1881 census living in Belgrvia as a butler.
1891 he is in Chelsea with wife Martha..., 1901 he is widowed.
I can't see him in 1911??
He died in 1926 in Fulham/
I can't see him in 1871 so suspect he must have arrived in England some time before 1881.
I wondered if anyone could help by finding when he came here please?

For ref. he married Martha Clark in Oakham Rutland 1883

I cannot find him in 1861 so assume he arrived after that.

There is no trace on 1911 of him at all.
