Born: Burham Kent.
Occ: Rivetters Labourer.

Spouse: Sarah A. age. 39.
Born. West Peckham.
Married. 20 yrs.

Dau. Kathleen age 22 B Chatham Kent.

Son: Percy age. 7 Born. Chatham. Kent.


Kathleen, is married to a John Gurney, married 3yrs. 1908
On the M.C. says Kathleens maiden name as 'Stone'
father 'John Stone' [deceased.]

I would like a 1891C & 1901C for Kathleen Stone & if there with her Parents, Sarah & John & also, when her Parents Married?
as i cannot see a marriage for them, unless they married in another County.

Help Please on this one.

Still a mystery as if it wasn't for my Grt Uncle a John Gurney appearing on the 1911C with spouse Kathleen & the Chevons Family & knowing from their M.C. Kathleen's maiden name as 'Stone' & her father is listed as John Stone [deceased] in 1908 i'd say was different Family.

Any ideas on this one please.
Is their a 'Kathleen Stone' listed on the 1901C with father John Stone ?
Perhaps i'm missing something here.

All I can see in 1891 is William Chevons, who is a stoker in the Navy and married. Can't see a marriage or a wife. No trace of Katleen or Sarah in 1891 or 1901

I wonder if this is anything to do with them.

There is a John Stone marring a Sarah Ann Richmond in 1881 and he is a Widower and she a spinster. John is a Bootmaker and they both have the same address. John is 32 and Sarah Ann 28 which would make her the right age for Sarah Ann Chevons her year being born 1853.
