I've found this family on the 1891 index......

Hugh Bradburn b1855, Lancashire (not sure of town).
His wife, Susannah b 1855, Manchester.
And children:-
James K b 1879 Bolton
Jesse b 1883 Bolton
Ethel b1890 Bolton


Marriages Mar 1879 (>99%)

Hartley Susannah Bolton 8c 435


But I can't for the life of me find any of them in 1881.

Please will SKS see if they can be found? I've tried every which way I can think of!

I have looked using all of the tricks in the book, first names only, places of birth etc. No luck here either.

They must be mistranscribed. I have tried looking on the 1881 census for James K too and still no luck.

The only thing I found on IGI was a marriage of a Hugh Bradburn in 1832. to Martha Abbot.

They aren't living at 33 Percy St in 1881. The birth cert of James b1879 should have an address on it - maybe they were still there in 1881.
