Do not know the regiment he served in but do know that he was badly gassed during 1914-18

Thanks Lindsey, how do I access these or is there some way you could access for me ?

William was not killed but he lived until 1946.

In 1914 had him living in St Helen's Lane, Ipswich

Not all records survived, so I'm not sure ..

That one Lindsey found is the only one i found as well, no other record show, please note that 70% of these records were destroyed by air raids in WW2, so his record could be amongst those that were lost.

These records are on Ancestry,

George
