Hello hopefully i've got the "right board"!?!

Please an Ancestry look up if possible in Passenger lists (official records)

My grandmother was Alice Maud Cummings Ferrar usually listed as Alice M C Ferrar, born 1902 Edinburgh, she had family ties to Canada.

Have found her once in the UK incoming Passenger Lists 1878-1960 Alice Ferrar arrival Glasgow 2 July 1938 from Quebec, Montreal on the Athenia, she gave her Aunt Mary Ferrar's adress in Dundee Scotland.

Please can anyone find her on any other passenger list to or from Canada or the States . time frame 1920--1938.
Thank you so much for your trouble :)
Please disregard private match at Ancestry as "known".

So much thanks :) kathy

According to this passenger list of her arrival in Canada she was intending to stay permanently. her present occupation was lady gardener and she was intending to take up farming. She had ten dollars with her and her passage was paid by the Salvation Army. She names her nearest relative at home as guardian Mrs. Caroline Wilkinson, 7 melville St., Perth. She was heading to Winnipeg, Manitoba. The document is signed Alice Ferrar c/o Mrs. McPherson, 13 Watergate. (A different Alice?)

Thanks Margee -- does rather seem like another Alice Ferrar - i still find the info interesting, as i'm also researching the surname FERRAR.

My grandmother was born Alice Maud Cummings 1902 Edinburgh, she acquired Ferrar from her aunt Mary Swanson married name Ferrar. She raised Alice hence Alice M C F....

Alice had ties with Ns Halifax, & Quebec. I also believe she was sent to a girl's reformatory school in Canada, this entailed hands-on stuff like farming. Thank you, finding confirmation of events is hard :))
