Credits £7 for 30. It costs i credit to view a list of results and 5 to view a record. For BMDs you see the actual register (not just the index) and can download/print it. These records give more info than English ones. For parish records, you see a page from the register which you can also download/print.

Civil Registration started in 1855 in Scotland. familysearch has lots of Scottish records, upto 1875 for areas and it is free but there are no images.
