Can anyone help? I have been looking for the military records of my ancestor GEORGE MARSHALL, Born in OAKE Somerset about 1786. His death certificate has him down as a Greenwich Pensioner and farm labourer. I have tried searching at the Public Record Office, Kew, but without success. I know he married in 1836 to Sarah Stacey in Hillfarrence , Somerset and then had a family. He lived there til he died in1862. Thank you |

Have a look at the Research Guide to RN pensioners on the TNA site. Plenty of options there for research if you didn't search all of these references at Kew. |
