Can anyone please help.
I am looking for my great grandfather birth. HARRY COOKE Father RICHARD COOKE- Census returns after his marriage in 1875 (Cert in my possession) state birth place WEST BROMWICH, STAFFS.
Father Richard was dead in 1875 according to wedding certificate. Marriage took place in Yorkshire Armley Hall. I cannot read the occupation of Richard on the wedding cert it looks like Cooper but it could be Grocer but very hard to read.
Later years they dropped the E from the end of the surname.
Would love someone to be able to help me. Thanks Cynthia
