I hadn't traced her marriage but the 1891census in Bedford has a Ruth Brooks of Edworth as a visitor. It's possible. I need to check some more.

My last message 'crossed in the post' with last two entry re Ruth Myers.

I'm not she is my Ruth or not. Place of Birth is Kempston. There were about five or so Ruths born in the Bedford area within a space of a few years. Makes it difficult to pin down.
