Hi, some weeks back some people looked up the census's for george and sarah haines (shropshire) i recall it showed them having a son also george and a rebecca and possibly Sarah (1831/3) but cant seem tofind my thread.
On a 1841 census it shows younger sarah staying with a family of walletts, and stating neice, but to enable to prove we have the correct sarah we need her mothers maiden name (this is older sarah married to george). TRying to ascertain if she could have been a Jones?? can anyone help on that for me for would be totally grateful
thank you

sorry Lindsey, read you message wrong.
But you are saying wouldnt state neice, why would this be? For this is what we are trying to ascertain if she was actually the neice or walletts or we have the wrong family.
thanks

hi Lindsey, yes i think the latter possibly 99% but not showing Mother.
i have just delved on IGI and found a Sarah Haines (possibly wife of George) who died in same district in 1836. Just trying to find if possibly she was a jones before she married haines.
thanks, and if you can throw any more light on this family would be great.
much appreciated
