I would like to start a new tree, and then connect it with mine.

My tree and my husbands that is, I have a good build on mine where I think I can now do a fresh one for my husband. But the problem is everytime I click onto the tree builder and edit, it won't allow me to add.

Can you suggest please?

Is this the Genes tree or another program?

If its Genes then have you started a tree for your Hubby? If not then there's no need to start a tree for him .You add him on your tree as your spouse and then add his parents and his siblings, if he has some, and the work backwards the same way as you have done your side
