No, he never married - unless it was a secret.

His father was in farming.

The middle names apparently came from his mothers side of the family and he said she was a Charrington of the brewery family.

He was also known by F.I.L in the Royal Artillery in the WW2,
He certainly existed.

We are trying to find the records for Reginald de St Clair Baxter, born about 1915-20 and died in London about 2000.
??His parents were Hery and Ethel from Huntingdon shire.
Although we can find no records for him, he certainly existed as my husbands friend and our sons godfather, and we often stayed with him. Also he was a well known name in Lloyds.

It is strange that on paper he does not exist. He was quite solid.

Some info would be appreciated.
