Christine...If you know what Rel. Jeanette was it may be a possibility you could obtain details from the Church Burial Records...if she was RC then try and locate the nearest Church to North Cantril Ave...she would possibly have attended there...

Thanks Eringobragh1916 and Amokavid for your replies.
The lady in question was the first wife of my uncle, who died in 1964, and he was divorced and married again by 1946. There was talk of her having a breakdown after the birth of her 4th child, in 1936, so I don't know what became of her. I had made contact with my uncles grandson before I found out about the second marriage, and am a bit uncertain about getting in touch again. But I suppose I can try.
I will also try Victor.

Christine.

Hello Mark,
Unfortunatley I am down in Peterborough, and I have the date of death. I am really trying to find out if any family members knew of her death, and where she might be buried. I think I will try my local library to see if I can access the national burial index.
Thanks for your input Mark.

Christine.

Hello

If you are local to Liverpool or any other Probate Office you could see if a Will was made. This would also give the date of death if you have not already got it - Good Luck

Hello everyone.
I was wondering if any of you kind people had access to Liverpool newspapers for the year 1980? I have the death cert. for Jeanette Devane, who died on the 9th. Nov 1980 at Broadgreen hospital, Liverpool. Very little info about her, only d.o.b, and address, 5, North Cantril Ave, Liverpool.
The informant, as far as I know was a social worker, as her qualification was " causing the body to be buried".
Is someone able to check the newspapers to see if her death was recorded, and if there was any mention of where she may have been buried?
I know it's a long shot, but hoping someone may be able to help.
Many thanks,
Christine
