can anyone help me find any information on the following

John bradley was born in liverpool 1899, he served in the first world war some time between 1916 & 1918, I think it was either the royal or merchent navy, I think he may have been on the hospital ship Britanic at some stage,

In november 1918, he worked his passage America , but not from liverpool, were he stayed until 1928, he married Hanna or Anna in America,

How can I find his war recoreds, given that most of world one records were damaged in the seconed war, also how can I find his marriage in America

Ive had a look for his WW1 records but cant see anything, most of them were destroyed in WW2

I cant see him on the US census either, do you know where in the US he lived and where he ended up?
