Isabella PAPE a widow age 26 years married a Sowen ANDERSSEN in Liverpool in December 1873. Sowen was a Mariner.

Sowen's father was down on the cert, as Morgus Anderssen a fisherman.

Does anyone recognise this couple ?

I cant see Sowen or Isabella in 1881 census, nor see any Anderssen births

On December 2nd at St Michael's Upper Pitt Street, Liverpool SOWEN ANDERSSEN to MRS ISABELLA PAPE.

Does anyone recognise this couple please ?

I have reason to believe that Isabella might be 'mine', she was born Isabella Whitfield, married a Roger Pape in 1869 (he was a Mariner), he died just before the 1871 English census where she is shown as a widow visiting her sister (a McCoid family).

Any help appreciated.

ISABELLA PAPE MARRIAGE
My thanks to all who have replied to my message of yesterday, I am astounded by the kind people who have done some delving on my behalf.
I now have who I think is Sowen in the 18781 and his parents. If this proves correct I know that he was Danish and not from any other Scandinavian country.
