	You need to establish some facts..........it is not wise to 'assume' How does he relate to you? You should be checking on freebmd, which is, of course, FREE...........and obtaining certs...... so that you are working on accurate info

Member Since: May 2004 Posts: 98 Send Message	Astra, In assume he was married before 1923, therefore I have assumed birth as about 1902, but I believe he had several children. It may well be that his correct name was .......... Percy Ashton, but this may be an assumption, rather than a fact..

	To give accurate info to those who may wish to help, look for Percy's birth on freebmd I doubt that his occupation in 1911 would have been anything other than schoolboy

Member Since: May 2004 Posts: 98 Send Message	Trying to find Percy Ashton, born about 1902, possibly Lincolnshire. He married a Mary.............. His occupation may have been a farmer or farm labourer. One of his children was Audrey, born in 1925, at Gainsborough, Lincs. The family later moved to Mexborough, South Yorkshire. Any information and look up 1911 Census, please?
