robert smithson married to margaret mcintyre

Just wondering if anyone has a robert Smithson married to Margaret McIntyre in their family tree. They were married at St James church, Benwell, Newcastle upon tyne in 1956. I was recently at a wedding exhibiton at the church -showing old photos as both my parents and grandparents were married there. I saw a wedding photo of this couple and wondered if we might be related - both having the smithson surname. My parents come from Scotswood on my dads side - he is called Don Smithson and Benwell on my mothers side - she is Angela Aitken. Im just curious to see if theres a connection, and I can maybe add to my family tree! |

I found one margaret mcintyre on a search, who would be born around the right time and came from newcastle , so have emailed the tree owner to see if theres a match! thanks for the swift reply though! :-) |

Checked marriage. None found for Jack, but there is one for Robert. Suggest you check 192.com. You could try facebook too. |

Pam - thanks for your info - due to me looking at your reply , I realised I had a mistake on my typed notice - I put Jack instead of Robert, there was a jack smithson at the wedding, but he wasnt the groom. thats what you get for doing things in a rush! I will check 192 and facebook as you suggested. |
