Hi All,
Harry is also my great uncle. b 11 Dec 1885 Everleigh: m Kate Salisbury 1909 Everleigh. They had five daughters-
E S b 1910 Enford,
R K b 1 Oct 1912 Everleigh,
D M bapt 28 Aug 1918 Everleigh,
V M bapt 11 Jun 1920 Everleigh,
Rose b 1922 Woodcott Hants. (died aged 14).

The family lived in Rectory Lodge Everleigh in 1920.
Since all the children were daughters, the Ayres name did not continue from Harry.

RK married W Burgess and they had a son and a daughter.
The move from Everleigh to Hampshire was after 1920 but before 1922.

Ken
It was suggested that he may have died in Newbury.

People sometimes die far from the area one would expect.
It could be that he was staying with relatives, was in hospital or was just there for another reason.

If you look on freebmd and put in just the surname AYRES with mother's maiden name SALISBURY, you can find the names of later possible children's birth registrations.

EDIT
If you go to Search Trees tab ( in dark green section above) and put in those girls' names, you will see that a Claire is also researching them and has the Hampshire-born child listed too.
It might be helpful to share notes.

Hi Thanks for all the info. Harry was born, baptised & married at Everleigh, Pewsey district not Newbury. It could be that they moved from Wiltshire to Kingsclere area but not sure.

Harry was just Harry at marriage.

I have submitted a correction to Kate's transcription on freebmd, as she has the wrong page number.

That looks a good possibility Jax.

I was just about to post that another possible child of theirs was born in Kingsclere district.
