the eileen baptism is the last record of fred. apparently he was a bit of a scallywag and boozer and eventually elizabeth went off and married a friend of his in coventry. elizabeth is traceable but no sign of fred after this - the couple of deaths in the area have been checked out and it's not him, no war records, marriage or emmigration records - will keep dredging for him! thanks guys x

Ancestry has two baptisms on 23 Feb 1906 South Lambeth St Barnbas

Herbert born 20 March 1897 and Eileen born 28 August 1904

To Frederick and Elizabeth Jones
Frederick is a stone mason
Address looks like 36 Thorne St

I have searched again and still found nothing for him...Sorry.

I have searched 1911 for him again but have not found one that I would say was him for sure.

I will look again later.

could someone please look this one up on the 1911:
FREDERICK DAVID JONES, BORN 1874 LLANDRINDOD, WALES. STONEMASON
(his "wife" had gone by 1911 so previous info about her was invalid- he was either alone or remarried by 1911)
possibly living in the greenwich area, also poss at "sankey's wharf" woolwich.... but he was a bit of a gad-about. hoping the rest of the info will help to get a pin in him as the name is quite common.

hi guys - i've found out a bit more info on this lot which may help a lot!!
The last child was Eileen, born Lockington Rd London 1904 after that Frederick dispears.......Elizabeth his "wife" remarries (William) Arthur Roberts 1909 in Coventry . Calling herself Elizabeth Butler, Spinster. not Jones, widow. so have found elizabeth but what of Fred??!!!
Looks like fred did a runner and she remarried bigamously not knowing where he was,or they were never married in the first place.but where is his death? (the one at Bethnal Green isn't him)
Is Frederick David Jones(b1874) on the 1911 with a different wife or alone?? can't find a matching death, can't find an emmigration or WW1 record - HELP!!!

yes - i see what you mean - i guess they could be anywhere by 1911!

possible! (lockington rd info i have could be wrong) right area tho and bricklayer/stonemason fits - have mailed older relative to try for more detail!

Plenty of people married after the children for one reason or another...Could be them.

hi fbg -no, i can't find a marriage either - suspect they weren't! only names marriage match is in 1919 back in wales and that is way out with the date.
saying that though- i found a marriage for some relatives once on parish registers in the library that wasn't on BMD. so who knows!
