I have received an ancestry hint showing a name I am looking for (my gtgrandfather) as possibly being listed in the 1920 census in America. However my subscription to Ancestry does not cover the American census records. Could someone who has access please do a look up for me.
The name I am looking for is George NUTTALL he was born in Lancashire in 1885 but I can't trace him after 1917 (when his last child was born) no-one knows what happened to him.

Hope someone can help this is a huge brick wall for me which I desperately need to break.

They're also on the Ellis Island site which is free, you just have to register.
It gives name of nearest relaive in England as brother Joseph Hogg, 3 Zena St., Ancoats, Mter?
It says they're going to join father? Harriet Taylor, St. Johns Parish Church, Cohoes, NY???

Thanks for you replies but this sadly isn't my gtgrandfather. I rather hoped it would be him as emigrating to American would explain why no-one knew what had happened to him. Mine left his wife and children behind and this George took his with him.

Very grateful for your replies, thank you
