I have received an ancestry hint showing a name I am looking for (my gtgrandfather) as possibly being listed in the 1920 census in America. However my subscription to Ancestry does not cover the American census records. Could someone who has access please do a look up for me. |

They're also on the Ellis Island site which is free, you just have to register. |

Thanks for you replies but this sadly isn't my gtgrandfather. I rather hoped it would be him as emigrating to American would explain why no-one knew what had happened to him. Mine left his wife and children behind and this George took his with him. |
