Hi Elizabeth Ann at age 23 is listed as marrying Arthur Francis Ward on 25/12/1912. Her father is listed as Robert Meakings. I am having blank walls for both relatives - my husband's grandparents- in terms of census listings. We believe the Wards were all London - Southwark based and the Meakings in Southwark and might have come from Suffolk. |

Thanks for this info, I suppose the spelling is the key re the Meekins, Meakings etc surname, also confusion for us because the spouse's father is listed as Daniel Walter Ward in csrtificate detail but on Banns Its Arthur William Ward. |

There are two records for their marriage - the one that Choccy posted at St Thomas's, which does not seem to have taken place, and one at Christchurch. Maybe they had the Banns called at both churches. |
