Hi can anyone help me please with a William Greenhill married at Everleigh to Mary Ann Ayres 29-3-1912 (thats their wedding photo). William born c1889 and Mary Ann born 4-11-1888 Everleigh Wiltshire. He was gamekeeper and I am told that they went to live in Scotland after the marriage. According to family (now deceased) they had a daughter Annie born c1915 and died c1954 both Scotland. Mary Ann died c1953 Kinclaven Scotland William died c1955 Scotland.
It was also said that their was metal illness in the family, not sure who or if true.
Mary Ann was the brother to Harry Ayres whom you found the death for me yesterday, greatful thanks.

If you get the death certificate of William Greenhill if it was known,his parents names will be on it plus the miaden name of his mother,this you could follow up by seeking a mariage for his parents in Gt Brittian or Scotland.

Do you have access to Ancestry? William's WW1 record is on there. Only one child is listed, Evelyn Elizabeth, b 19/2/1913 in Rhynd (sounds Welsh!).

He was a gamekeeper, living at The Lodge, Berths(?) Park, Perth

Not on Ancestry, Rhynd Lodge is in Fife Scotland, it is on a country estate so could well have been William's place of work.

Frank has posted Evelyn and Mary Ann's death registrations above (Nos 1 and 7).

Evelyn's is a possible but given that Mary Ann's contains her maiden name (Ayres) it looks like a definite. You should be able to view the images on scotlandspeople.

Go into http://scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ and register, then purchase 30 Credits at a cost of £7.00.

In Statutory Register Deaths enter surname of Greenhill, leave christian name blank.
Choose Female, Perth and date range from 1951 to 1955.

At a cost of 1 Credit you will be shown the above set of deaths with each result having a VIEW button.
At a cost of 5 Credits, click on VIEW which allows you to view, download, or save, a copy of the certificate.
