Find Ancestors

Is it possible to search the census by address please?
I am trying to find out who lived at no 3 and no 43 Alice Street London SE1.
I do have access to the census, but only know how to search by names.

You can on FMP but if you are using GR? then i dont know.

What exactly are you trying to find out about?

Do you have a certificate with an address on and can not find the person in 1911?

Thank you so much for looking for me.
My Grandmother gave her address on her marriage certificate as 3 Alice Street, in 1912 and my Grandfather gave his as 43 Alice Street.
I have managed to trace my Grandmothers family history but I am unable to trace my Grandfathers at all. As my Grans parents lived in Law Street, I was hoping one of these addresses might contain a clue to a relative.
I will try FMP.

Why not post the details from the marriage cert

I am having a senior moment he has put 49 not 43 on the certificate. Can anyone tell me who lived there please.
I didn't put the details of the marriage cert on as I have posted that on another thread and understand it would not be etiquette to post it twice.
I was not trying to post the same thread twice, I was just wondering if it was possible to do a street by street search of the area in the hope of finding the name of one of the many relatives my Dad and Uncle can remember.
Also I am not sure it would help. I have my Grandfathers Marriage Cert and his Military records. After around 300 hours of searching it would appear he lied on all of them.
I have had so much help from the Gene people and I am really grateful. Unfortunately I have just come to a complete dead end.

Thank you for this. I am going to look at it tomorrow,when my brain is functioning again.
I quite like the look of this. Ester is generally regarded as a Jewish name and I believe my Great Grandmother, Joseph's Mum was Jewish. This might sound like I am grasping at straws but to be honest I am.
