Yes those cencus returns are the correct family it is as I said the generation before thats the puzzle. Should have added I can't find him on 1841 cencus Stafford or indeed brum'

My gg grandfather was William Dean who lived and Marrired in Stafford and indeed died in Stafford (all proved)
My problem is my sister claims he comes from Stafford but I can not find him anywhere in the records office.
He does state on one cencus that he was born in Birmingham
Please any one if pos' at Warwickshire have a quick look .
