I have both these men in my tree.

Stephen jnr did marry Ada Pizzy.
My problem is
Stephen 1847 (Father) married Ann Welch. She died 1891
He remarried?1898 Fanny Luck. At the time she was 51.
Who do you think Edith Mary Luck 1898
Winnifred 1901 were the children of. They are said to be Stephen John's.
I am trying to work this out. I hope that you can understand it!!

On the 1901 census, what does the term Nurse Child mean?
The term Nurse Child is beside the persons age

Usually this term describes some kind of informal fostering arrangement. For example, if one or both parents of a child died and the person remaining was unable to look after the infant, it would often be placed with another local household (possibly other distant family or friends) who for a small fee would look after the child on their behalf, hence the term 'nurse child'. Often also hides some kind of illegitamacy - a good neighbour who takes a child in from a single mother who is unable to look after it.

Personally I would but one of the birth certs to see who the father was...
