Death record in Scotland - Albert Black

Hi

I was wondering if somebody could help me please with my Scotland ancestors.

On the Scotland people website I have an Albert Black born around 1894 in Glasgow but he doesn't show up on the 1901 census, so I'm trying to find if he died very young.
I've found a death record of one Albert Black in Edinburgh. Would this be the wrong Albert Black? Or were all the deaths in Scotland recorded in Edinburgh and the city refers to the place it was registered and not where he was from?

Many thanks to anyone who can help :-)

Natalie

deaths are registered where you are lving at the time not here you came from. maybe the family moved to edinburgh

if you know his parents names you should be able to match up the death record as presumably one of his paretns would have registeerd his death (if this is him)
