trying now to finish my west and Baxter line , rose west ...she is supposed to be the wife of Charles Baxter b abt1909 i don't think in NZ..died in NZ 1959 and she is the daughter of john west and eliza Allen Christopher also on my smith post
so i need help with both of them...as i haven't much to go on
if this helps:.
she was 2 months old on the 1911 census ...b in .Plaistow West Ham Essex England, arrived with her family in 1913 on the remuera to NZ
married Charles Baxter....told to me by family member ..that's all she knew
she might be wrong...
i did find this on the NZ bdm;
cant be sure its her...

The only birth I am seeing for "Rose" in West Ham is

On Ancestry there is a Dorothy Rose West with the parents you quoted but there is no other info only that she died in Auckland NZ - no date

Just had another look on Ancestry, this time for Rosalind Florence West and it seems to confirm Maureen's posting

Rosalind married a Charles William Gibson(b 1897) and had at least 1 child-
Marie Annette June Gibson b 31 March 1931 NZ and died 4 Nov 1994 in Perth Western Australia
Marie married a Arthur Edwin Edwards (b 4 Dec 1929.) He died 25 Jun 1986 also in Perth
Rosalind died 1980 in NZ
Rosalind's parents are recorded as John West Eliza Allen Christopher so the tree owner of the one I quoted in my earlier posting has picked up the incorrect birth record
There is no record of a second marriage for Rosalind on the tree and no dates quoted for Rosalind's or her daughter Marie Gibson's marriage

maureeninNY im just having a look at her name..the family already had a Dorothy Nellie who married a john smith...
why are these so beastly hard
wait ..im not sure if this is right but my mum mention that one of the girls use the name June...this could have been her if she changed her name to june......but i haven't found any thing with a June little lone rose

there are a number of "living Edwards" children of Marie and Arthur Edwin Edwards with no indication where they were born
Only one child is named - Ronald Stephen Edwards who was born 14 Nov 1951 in New Zealand so it looks like they were married in NZ
