Find Ancestors

I am trying to find some information on a Kathleen Neary.

Not sure when born but possibly 1880ísh in Victoria, Australia.

I have found a marriage in 1910 New South Wales to a "Bago Saigh"or "Saigh Bago". Not sure which way is correct.

She then seems to disappear with her husband - no death or further marriages that I can find.

Can someone help me find something please.

Thankyou for all this information. I did look for a marriage for Kathleen after the Saigh Bago but did not find.

Do you have access to VIC BDM? I am quite confident that Kathleen was born there. Just let me know if not as I will try to find some other way.

If I find her birth I will be able to confirm as you have given me her parents names.

She was buried at Church of England, Botany.

Cannot find a birth in Victoria of Kathleen up to 1901.

There is only one Catherine (can be Kathleen) Neary who was born in 1878 at Ch Ar in Victoria (I don't know what it stands for). Her parents were William Neary and Mary Beard/Baird.

It might be not her. It was Cath Neary who was married to Alex Douglas in 1899.

Edit: I just found her death that it was Katherina Douglas who died in 1960. So it is not her.

Florence G married Johannes de Vries in 1920 in Sydney. She could be the 'Gertie' referred to in Kathleen's death notice? Hazel is mentioned too.

There are two births to a John & Mary NEARY in NSW (her parents as named on her death reg)...in 1879 & 1883. Another as NEARRIE in 1888. But no Kathleen. If the above births are hers, she must have been born c1880.

John NEARY & Mary Alice BARDSLEY married in 1878 in St George NSW (reg 2005).

Kathleen was 77 when she died in 1950, and husband Joseph was 64 when he died in 1945.

So she was born c1873. Before the above marriage of John & MA...

Joseph was born c1881. (Good for her!)

Not found in NSW...but Joseph was previously married to Violet Mary LUPTON in 1909 in Sydney (reg 10291). She died in 1937 in Sydney, dau of Chas & Julia (reg 144).

It's not the right year according to her age at death (unless it is supposed to read 71, not 77?), but there is a Catherine NEARRIE born in Beechworth, Victoria in 1879 to John & Mary Ann (nee WARREN) (reg 622). So parents match those on death reg.

???

No marriage in Vic for Jno & Mary Ann.

That is an interesting comment re John and Mary Ann.

There is from somewhere a note re Kathleen mother's name could have been Ännie".
