A repost of this search........I am still looking for an ancestor, William James White who was born in Lancashire and came to NSW around 1872 as a 4yr old. he settled in the Casino / Lismore area and married Anna Leu in 1886. This marriage certificate says he is a widower, but I have no details of his birth or previous marrige. His death cert has no parent's listed..............Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Does his second marriage name his father?

Lismore and Casino are places in New South Wales
and his marriage was in NSW

only the ship arrival was in QLD, unless his first marriage was there.

so I had thought ... I had searched for the marriage in NSW and found nothing ...

I accidentally searched for William J White births instead of deaths in NSW I think :-)
