Babs, Im nor suprised you are getting confused, you need to stick to one thread so that we can all see the info

You said in a PM to me that Johanna was born in 1850?

I am getting myself in a real pickle here. I Have Denis Shea's birth as 1841 & Marry Connors birth as 1851 This cannot be right as my Grandmother Johanna Shea (their daughter) has a birth date of 1850 (the year before her mum was born!) I will give you access to my tree can you look and see what I am doing wrong?

I got it here-
Marriage of DENIS SHEA of NR and MARY CONNOR of BALLINAKILLA on 2 March 1867

N.B.: NR means not registered
This was in reply to my post dated 12 July 07.45 under the heading Denis shea - Mary Shea . A lady named pam thought this was the correct one but I think it is wrong

Babs...From your other threads..this is the info..(.from marriage details census etc.)

Michael O'Shea married Johanna Hutchison..(1910)

Johanna H (b.1881) was the daughter of Fred Hutchison and Johanna Shea

Fred and Johanna m 1867..Fred was son of Fred Hutchison.
Johanna daughter of Denis Shea.
Fred jnr.was stated as only 16 yrs. at marriage.

Where did you find the Mary Connor being Johanna's mother...?

Hello

Everyone has been really helpful hekping me trace me ancestors. I have been given lots of information but now I am stuck can you help please?

My Grandmother was call Joanna Shea I beleive she was born 1881 maried to Michael Shea.

Now heres where I get confused Someone traced back and said they thought her parents were Frederick Hutcheson & Joanna Shea If i am right Frederick was born in 1851 and died 1908 However for Joanna I have a rough date of 1851.

This is the really confusing bit I thought Joanna's parents were Denis Shea and Mary Connor but their dates of birth are 1841 and 1851 respectively this makes them the same age as their daughter!!!

I have tried to trace the correct ones can anyone help. Going to Ireland on 22nd would love to try and make sence of it.

I will give permission to view my tree if you think it would help you just send me a message.
