Do you know the name of the sister who married a Canadian, or would you recognise it?

You could try searching on freebmd site to see if you find the marriage, then you will have a married name to help track her in Canada.

i am looking for one of the Poulton girls who lived in a cottage on the leatherhead road corner of fairoak lane chessington surrey in the war years one of the girls married a canadian soldier stationed at oxshott who was a very good friend of norman fraser who is my brothers father (mother joan johnson from fairoak lane) the poulton girl went on marry him and went to live in canada with him. i would love to just know a little something about norman for my brother we think he was a carpenter in toronto canada. My brother knows nothing of his father and i would love to have any information for him as i know he would be over the moon as my mum went on to marry and have 4 other children (i am the eldest) but my brother still has my mums maiden name. this is a genuine message as i know one of the sisters Posy has just died she was my aunt she married alby johnson PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIND ANY INFORMATION ABOUT NORMAN FRASER MY BROTHERS FATHER
