Could he have died in ww1?

Not seeing a birth with Turnbull as middle name could that be his birth name?

George T's father was Joseph ( deceased) and Labourer George was also listed as Labourer.

What else can you tell us about George T? Do you have any father's details from his marriage to Phyllis, and what was George's occupation? Do you have him on any census?

The fact that Phyllis was living with Thomas in 1911 as his wife but they didn't marry until 1917 rather suggests that she and George Mills were estranged not necessarily that he had died.

Andrew, the names of the witnesses areT. Robson and M A Glen, the father of George was Joseph (deceased) the marriage took place at the R.O.South Shields

















the marriage took place at the R.O.district of South Shields in the county of Durham and South Shields

Please could someone help me find the death of George Turnbull Mills, born c1881 married Phyllis Rowland Dec6th 1902 Marriage Cert, his address before marriage was 2. Peel Terrace, Hebburn Co Durham,

!917 shows Phyllis Mills nee Rowland a widow marrying Thos. Chambers 1911 lists the 2 sons born from her marriage to George Mills the youngest b 1906,I must be looking in the wrong place, I did wonder if there had been a mining accident.
I'm really getting too old for this!!!
