How you find anyone when you do not have a clue where they are must be impossible until Ancestry get the indexes

yes i have done that and trawled through 1000s of images till my eyes started to boggle
I thought there might be a easy way

Select 1911 census

Go to right of screen

Browse collection

County
Civil Parish
Sub Registration District – selecting this one then brings up
Enumeration District

Click on the correct ED and that brings up images 1 to XXX

Select one image, any one, and see how near to the address you want that image actually is then you go backwards or forwards


Not very clear but see if you follow what I mean

Sure someone else will come a long with clearer instructions

Which other well known site ?

Can not at the moment think of one that has the images and not the index unless you mean Ancestry

Hi
I have asked people on here to do 1911 look ups which they have done for me
i am also on another well know site which only has the image"s not the index so how do i, translate the info like ref numbers. district,numbers at the bottom so i can find the people on the other well known site.
I just hope this makes sense to some one lol
