Thank you everyone for your help.
Thomas seemed to move around alot....Following railway work, I guess.
I thought Leonora would be a good name to find, but can't see her birth,
* was she Thomas' child?*
but I agree Robert b. E Ward might be a useful certificate.

So with all those different birthplaces for Ellen..Do you think they are the same person?
I did look at the Thomas John marriage, but he was baptised Thomas Edward and appears as Thomas Ed. in 1901, so I'm not sure.

This extended family is the worst I have for searching.
From the following census after a child's birth, the details all change by the next census. !

I'm not 100% sure, but think that Thomas might be a soldier in Aldershot in 1871.
He is shown with birthplace Kidderminster, Warwick (sic)

Although the railway Thomas was not born in Kidderminster, his parents did move there and several younger siblings were born there.
