Martha Batty married William Dean they lived in hull had 4 daughters Hilda (MY DADS MAM) Irene , Elsie,Edith 1 son William . the 4 girls went to live in grimsby with their parent the son stayed with family in hull .....

My Dads Grandparents fathers side Polly Mason married Edward Cox or it could be William Eamon not to sure they lived in hoyland common barnsley they had 4 sons Ernest Mason , Wilfred ,Carl ,Edward and 1 daughter Mary

A tree on Ancestry gives William Dean's marriage to a Rebecca Hill in Goole Dec 1871 . Rebecca was born in Reedness 1851

The parents of William b 1849 were William ( 1800 - 1875) and Ann b 1809 Aldborough and died Hull 1886

A search on familysearch.org shows a marriage between a William Dean and Ann Harman on 6 March 1828 in Aldborough

I am wondering if it might be a good idea to have two seperate threads, one for the Cox family and one for the Deans............as this could become quite confusing.

Perhaps you could copy and paste the Dean info and add it to a new thread with your original inquiry about the Deans.
