Grateful if anyone can advise on an option where you can search for a name and see the list of children that they had? My Mother had a baby late 1930's/1940's (unmarried), then later married and had myself and my twin. The first baby would have been registered with my Mother's maiden name, but I have no Christian name for the baby. |

I have a possibility of 3 areas to search. The maiden name is very common within England...Cooper! Which part of the site do I type in my Mother's name? Births would just give me her birth? Is there a link somewhere to find out all her children? It seems so simple that it couldn't be !!?? |

Thank you all for your response. Especially helpful is the freebmd/rootsweb site, saves me trawling through other lists as it gives details straight off Mother's maiden name and baby's surname being same. Thanks everyone. |

Although FreeBMD has essentially completed transcribing most births thru the 1930s, only half the 1940's quarters are essentially completed. |
