	could anyone with an ancestry subscription please look in the parish marraige records for a william thomas freeman and mary padgett 1919 wakefield west yorkshire parents templer freeman and john padgett deceased as i do not know the marriage date of my grandparents but know they divorced in feb 1949 thanks to anyone that can help angie

	I've checked the Ancestry marriages England and Wales 1538 - 1940 and there is no sign of this one. Jill

	Found it now - I sometimes have weird results on Ancestry and I'm so used to hunting my Londoners that anywhere else can be difficult. (My son calls me a no-tech!) I can add their addresses at the time: William was at Rose Cottage, The [farm?] Stanley Mary was at 20 Scarborough Street, Wakefield John Padgett is shown as deceased and was a Mill Fireman. (I think it's fireman rather than foreman). Jill
