Find Ancestors

Has anyone got a subscription for Ancestry in France? I have found someone who has posted family details there but cannot contact them without a subscription.

Looking for Karl RABBEL born 1864 in Brandenburg. This is listed under Helgoland-Genealogie Erich N. Krüss.

Any help would be appreciated.

Brandenburg is showing up as Germany but you have asked for France

Yes, I know where Brandenburg is but it was only the birthplace of Karl Rabbel. Although the surname is unusual it is still proving very difficult to research.

I just happened to see the name and year of birth on the Ancestry website in France and this does not pop up on the British website when I search.

One can only contact the tree owner if you subscibe to Ancestry.co.uk as all links are via them
As there is such a mountain of info on the tree your best bet would be to take out a 14 day free trial with Ancestry .co.uk , then you will be able to digest all the info at your leisure
If you have problems accessing the tree let me know and I'll endeavour to get some info to you

Janet, Mundia is free so you might as well go and have a search yourself!

The tree owner has almost 43,000 names (so is probably more of a "name collector").
