Go to "Search trees"on here at the top of the page in the dark green band on the left and put in "Frederick Usher 1911 Hull" and it will come up.
You can then send the person who has him on his tree with the same place/year of birth that you give a personal message and hope you get a reply.??

Have you tried contacting the other person who has Frederick on his tree on here?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I did send for the death certificate for the Fred Usher who died in Westminster but it turned out to be a different family even though at the time I thought i had found him. I will look into the one who died in 1961.

Hi,

Could anyone help me find my mother's half brother Frederick Usher, born 20.7.1911 in Hull. His mother was my grandma, Margaret Annie Usher, who was unmarried at the time. He was adopted by someone, probably unofficially, but obviously kept in touch as we have some photos of him that were sent to my grandma in later years. I think he died in 1963 but I've always wondered if he had a family. At the time of the 1911 Census my grandma was living with her aunt and uncle, John and Betsy Gallon. In 1912 my grandma married Harry Norminton and they had my mother. I wonder if anyone could help shed some light on this family.

Thanks

Val
