William died Dec 1900 age 51

But this is probably still not her maiden name :-S

When i got to bed last night..........i thought ahhhh!! i bet she is John's ex Mother in Law and he had been married before.
But that doesn't work out either!! Grrrrr! :-P

So this must be Ada's aunt as she's also from Manchester. Not related to the head of the house. But still don't know if Hellowell is her maiden name.

Perhaps the 1901 makes more sense? Emma's relationship to head of house is Aunt.

Found the death index d1935 in Sunderland age 85, that would fit

I looked on ancestry - There were some Keslops in Durham county, and a Mr. Keslop in the 1911 summary books, maybe you can look him up?

Hi Chris........i have been going round in circles trying to find the "Keslop" connection.
Even though it looks like Keslop on the image, i don't think it can be as there are no birth, marriages or deaths for the name Keslop as far as i can see.

I even wondered if perhaps Ada had married before to a Hellowell.

I have tried.....Kerlop, Heslop, Herlop, Kenlop.........in fact i can't even remember all the variations i have tried!!! :-S

Perhaps i have become so boggled eyed, i can't see the wood for the trees!!

I have the marriage, but mother-in-law KESLOP is strange !? Ada's mother must have married again?
