	Thank you all for your replies.. sorry in delay been busy with family things...... GB will PM you my email addy... Thank you The bit that says "Father Inspector" will be correct... he was the Inspector of Letter carriers and the owner of the Post Office Directory that went on to be Kellys Directory.in fact it was his father i was looking for. Benjamin Critchett senior was born 1776 and was working for the Post Office by 1800 as he is mentioned in his uncles Will at that time, Benjamin junior his eldest son was a leather seller/tanner in business with his brothers and fathers but the business was dissolved around 1827....I never knew until i saw this that he worked for the Post Office as well!!. He can`t have been there long though as he died in 1838 in the Leeds area and was back in the Leather business at the time of his death. Another piece of the jigsaw puzzle... Thank you all Nicky

	Hi Maureen Looked to see if another Critchett was there, but I couldn't see one. Oh stupid me --I realise now I only put the year 1829 + /- 1 year must be getting tired lol !! Barbara x

	Could some kind person please look up the details on the image of Benjamin Walker Critchett appointed 21st July 1829. My ancestry sub ran out a couple of weeks ago...typical that they add some new records that are of use to me soon after!! Nicky
