My German Family 'Menken'

The Menken's came from Dornum, in Lower Saxony ,Germany. I only have three names, Johana Menken.1895 ,her Father was Tonjes Menken c1862 and Mother was Gretchen De Fries c1864. can anybody help ,or point me in the right direction as to where to look , Thankyou John

It might be of interest to know that the Institution where she was in 1911 was the 'St. Chad's Home for Waifs and Strays'

Johana left Germany before 1914 ,she went to stay with family in Australia.
My Grandfather Arthur Manuell was in the Navy ,He was in ' J 5 ' Submarine through out the 1st W W.After the war it was sold to the Australian Navy .They met in Australia ,but came back to England to marry .John

An entry on above, Ancestry. looks like a Directory. Dornum, Menken Tonj. Uhrm. written by side. Could be short for occupation Uhrmacher. (Clock/Watchmaker)
