Thank you so much for all your help, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner I had even more trouble with the site and had to come off, don't you just hate it when that happens.

Maddie: the 1851 census is the one I have, thank you
Ann: as far as I know Hughes or Hugh was her maiden name.

Hi All

I don't know what has happened, first I couldn't see my replies, then I could and now my post seems to have vanished. So here we go again

Jane Hughes born 1794 in Glyn Ceirog, Denbighshire, Wales,
on the 1851 she is a widow, a farmer of 8 acres living with sons John, Richard and Thomas and daughter Elizabeth, Also lodger Elizabeth Jones.
Her husband was Ezecial, I know this from my gg grandfather Richard's marriage certificate.
