Don't know why i wrote Skellingthorpe (a brain dead moment? lol). You got there in the end. Basically she was born in Skelmanthorpe. I noticed the one from Huddersfield but i also noticed that know one (including) ancestry and IGI have the registers for Skelmanthorpe for that period. Was there a church at the time or would they have used Huddersfield or perhaps High Hoyland.

Hi

One of my ancestors was Jane Beaumont. She married Joseph Hinchcliffe in Ackworth in Yorkshire in 1799. On the 1851 census its states she was born circa 1770 in Skellingthorpe in Yorkshire. I have not been able to find her baptism and was hoping someone else could help me find it. Baptism would have probably been sometime between 1770 and and 1776.
