Hi all,

Wonder if I can pick your brains, or get a few pointers in the right direction.

This is about my husbands side of the family.

My father in law name David George Wood born 1921 Died 1994 in Glamorganshire. He also served in the RAF during WW 2.
He married Brenda Matthews in 1949.
He had sisters Elsie, Nancy, Winifred(winnifred) Lily(lilly)

Now none of them seem to remember their grandparents on his side.

They think his father was called Abraham or Albert.

His mothers Maiden name was Watkins and she was either Annie of Ann,
I have tried looking them up on the 1911 census but they don't seem to be on it.

I did find after a few hours that a Abraham Wood married an Annie Watkins in 1910 in Pontypridd.

But I can't seem to find anything else on them.

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

I know that Abraham was a sinker for the coal mines in Senghenydd..so the underground worker fits :-D

Thanks all, I now have hubbys Grandmother and her side of the family. she actually lived in that house all her life according to my sister in law. (Station Terrace Senghenydd)

So now just have to find which wood family it is :)
