Desperately trying to find out if margaret alice walsh who was born in 1892 to parents james walsh and martha jane hurst ever got married and had children. ?? In 1901 she was living on 6 bartle street in burnley aged 8. Not able to find her on the 1911 . She was sometimes called maggie. We are considering she maybe didnt get masrried until 1915 to an edward slater. But not sure. She had brother thomas born around 1895.
Not even able to find a birth for her either.
hopefully

thanks folks. yes, it was the last lot, dad james born in darwen. mum should be martha jane hurst. well done. thought she may have been down as maggie. Yes. thanks. Considering she married to the edward slater i mentioned, unless she died. ?? have found a reference to a 1926 voters list that said james walsh , margaret walsh and an edward slater living in burnley in right area. but no sign of maggie/margaret on this voters list. it may not be them, but a big coincidence as they did live at the same address at one point.
any advice welcome.
thanks again

Also consider that it might have been entered incorrectly on the 1901 census. Unless of course you know exactly when she was born. PH.

Thanks pam, my friend could not find her certificate at the time to check age. Think ive discovered margaret as a slater dying in 1928 in burnley aged 35. Sad news but at least its a resolution. if we have the correct one as marrying edward slater in 1915 and maybe having two children, possibly, gladys in 1920 and john slater in 1927. I think its correct but friend is still unsure. She will now have to get edward and margarets certificate to prove it is her.
thanks all for your brilliant help as usual,. Youve been brilliant !!!
