Hi all,

Wonder if anyof you know the origins of this surname Rusbatch sometimes spelt Rusbach.

I have managed to get to 1808 with John and Mary and their children Luke and ruth.

It seems the trail has gone cold....any pointers?

amazed how many there are on the census - many from Wales and a surprising number in Pennsylvania - sounds German to me which would tie in with Pennsylvania Dutch [e.g. Germans]

Yes they're mine Ann. Though they moved to Glamorganshire. Actually have a photo of hubbys great Grandmother who is related to them.
