I am trying to find out about Abraham Budde. He may have been the father of Derk Anthonie Budde who was married to Minnie May Lyttelton (born as Littleton but changed to Lyttelton bofore she married) in 1891. Minnie May and Derk Anthonie Budde married in West Ham London but they lived in Brighton East Sussex and Minnie May died there in 1947 aged 77. Derk Anthony was a very good tailor by all accounts and lived and worked half the year in Brighton and the other half in Haarlem (nr Amsterdam) the other half. I can't find birth or death records for Derk Anthonie Budde so I'm guessing he was born in the Netherlands and may well have died there. I'm not sure if Abraham Budde came to England or not. Minnie May Lyttelton (Littelton) was born in 1870 in West Ham London so I'm assuming Derk Anthonie Budde was born around a similar time. If Abraham Budde, as I think, was Derk Anthonie Budde's father then he may well have been born somewhere around 1840-1850. He may or may not have had links with the Jewish community in Holland. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone in the Budde family especially if you can shed any light on Derk Anthonie's and Abraham Budde's background.
