Hi
I wonder if some kind person could do a look up for Border Crossing From Canada to US.
Hardy Coomber born 1849.
I found this one on Ancestry for UK Passenger lists which I believe is my Hardy Coomber.
Name: Hardy Comber Birth Date: abt 1849 Age: 79 Port of Departure: Montréal, Québec, Canada Arrival Date: 22 Jul 1928 aged 79 Port of Arrival: London, England Ports of Voyage: Plymouth Ship Name: Alaunia Search Ship Database: View the 'Alaunia' in the 'Passenger Ships and Images' database Shipping Line: Cunard Line
On the original scanned copy it says his residence is 18 The Wall, Milton, Kent and he is listed as a Seaman.
Thank you Nicola :-)

Hi
Thank you for information, but its the Border crossings from Canada to US that I would like and any other information ie arrival in Canada/US. I have details of his arrival back in England in 1928 and wanted some more information on that.
I would like to prove/disprove that the Hardy Coomber that I found is my Ancester. The Hardy Coomber in my tree born 1849 Milton.
Thanks
Nicola

This border crossing at Niagara Falls, NY. Gives name of wife as Louise, 380 Herkimer St., Hamilton.
Border Crossings: From Canada to U.S., 1895-1956 about William H Coomber Name: William H Coomber Arrival Date: Feb 1917 Port of Arrival: St Albans, Vermont, United States Age: 43 Birth Date: abt 1874 Birth Country: England Gender: Male Race/Nationality: English Record Type: Manifests These records always give port of arrival as St. Albans, Vermont. That's just where the records were kept. I wish they would fix it so that it shows the actual port of arrival.
